Accessory Update: the hair cuff
The hair cuff, or ponytail ring, has been most recently spotted on the manes of 6 foot models in the Dries Van Noten a/w 2011 show. This season they are popping up everywhere! Asos and H&M are currently offering the cuffs at reasonable prices - and they look just as nice. I will definitely need to wait until my hair grows out (or finally clip in those hair extensions I’ve been hoarding for a while now) to use one, but everyone with long, wild, enviable hair should invest NOW. The cuff is SO versatile - I can just as easily see it worn with a slouchy tee, ripped jeans and ankle boots as I can with a Victoria Beckham dress and red bottoms. The pseudo-Egyptian vibe doesn’t hurt either.
